"For behold, He who forms mountains, and creates the wind, who declares to man what his thought is, and makes the morning darkness, who treads the high places of the earth The Lord God of hosts is His name." Amos 4:13
ABC's:

The Summit Church is a simple church that can easily be described by our ABC’s. We are so simple in fact, that you might be surprised at some of the things you will not find at The Summit Church, things we feel distract the church from its real purpose as Jesus Christ intended it to be. So this is what our ABC’s are all about, and they are straight out of the Holy Bible.

Adore God. When asked which commandment is the greatest, Jesus replied, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all you soul, and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37 NASB) This is Adoring God. At The Summit Church this is expected to be done in the lives of the member’s everyday, but being corporately expressed through our Saturday Night Worship Service where we listen to the preaching of God’s Word and Praise Him through our simple, but modern praise and worship music.

Belong to the Body. After answering the question concerning the greatest commandment, Jesus volunteered this, “The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Matthew 22:38-39) The most loving thing a person can do for their neighbor is be concerned for their spiritual well being, encouraging them in the things of the Lord, and holding them accountable to His moral Law. This is best done through the Body of Christ, His church, and at The Summit Church this is done tangibly through our “One Another Groups”. These are our small group ministry where we live out all of the “one another’s” in the Bible; like “Love one another”, “Forgive one another”, “Bear one another’s burdens”, there are obviously many more, but this just gives you an idea of what our fun and fulfilling small groups are like.

Carry our His Commission. The final command that Jesus gave His disciples after His resurrection from the grave and before His ascension back to Heaven, was to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20). Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and making disciples, hard core Jesus followers, is a priority at The Summit Church. We are out in the community doing many things to share the love of Jesus Christ with people. From having Jump Castles at the community Independence Day celebration, to “Absolutely Free Car Washes”, to prayer walking and daily evangelism, we are serious about getting the good news out there.

So that is a summary of our simple ABC’s. It is both a process, that is, what we do as a church, and the end result of the process, making the type of disciples Jesus intended us to be. Disciples who Adore God, Belong to His Body, and Carry out His Commission.
