Mark
1:1 "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God."
1:9-15 9. "It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
10. And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.
11. Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.''
12. And immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.
13. And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to Him.
14. Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15. and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.''
1:29-34 29. "Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30. But Simon's wife's mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Him about her at once.
31. So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.
32. Now at evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.
33. And the whole city was gathered together at the door.
34. Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him."
2:3 "Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men."
2:27-28 27. "And He said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
28. "Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.''
3:11 "And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, "You are the Son of God.'' "
8:38 "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.''
9:1 "And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.'' "
9:43-48 43. "And if your hand makes you sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched
44. "where `their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.'
45. "And if your foot makes you sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched
46. "where `their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.'
47. "And if your eye makes you sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire
48. "where `their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.' "
10:6-12 6. "But from the beginning of the creation, God `made them male and female.'
7. `For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
8. and the two shall become one flesh'; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9. "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.''
10. And in the house His disciples asked Him again about the same matter.
11. So He said to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
12. "And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.''
10:21 "Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.''
14:22-26 22. "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body.''
23. Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
24. And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.
25. "Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.''
26. And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives."
16:1-7 1. :Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.
2. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
3. And they said among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?''
4. But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away for it was very large.
5. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
6. But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.
7. "But go and tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.''
