and creates the wind, who declares to man what his thought

of the earth The Lord God of hosts is His name." Amos 4:13 |

Lori, Zach,
Pastor Eric |
The
Bible tells us to run the
race before us. As a former competitive cyclist I am here
to tell you every race is a journey. I am Pastor Eric Woods
and I invite you to come discover the journey that awaits
you at The Summit Church. Sometimes you will go down a well
trodden path, other times you will blaze a new trail. Nevertheless,
you will never go it alone if you choose to take the journey
that is the Christian life. You will have a traveling partner
in Jesus Christ who will never leave you nor forsake you.
Becoming a Christian
is not the finish line of this journey but instead it is
the starting line. The Summit Church is here for both the
person who wants to find out more about Christianity and
the committed Christian who desires to grow in their walk
with Christ. I can't wait to meet you.
Because of Him,
Pastor Eric |
Pastor
Eric Woods, a recent graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, has come to the tri-city
area to plant a new church in Chino Valley. Pastor Eric is working
in conjunction with the Yavapai Baptist Association and The Church
at Glassford Hill. Pastor Eric has been a bi-vocational youth pastor
for seven years including three years at First Southern Baptist
Church in Holbrook, Arizona and four years at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Hillsborough,
North Carolina.
Pastor Eric and his wife Lori are both natives of northeastern Arizona
and have a eight-year old son named Zachary. Pastor Eric enjoys the
outdoors, cycling and reading. He has a passion for youth, young
families and people with disabilities. He states, "In such
unsure times, families need the sure foundation of the gospel to
weather the storms of life."
