We have some pretty simple core convictions that determine how we view our church, and how we do some things in our church.
1. The Bible: We view the Bible as the holy, authoritative, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God. Which means we hold to scripture as our highest authority, being far more important than the opinions of man, and denominational affiliation.
2. Preaching: We believe in verse by verse, through the books of the Bible, expository, contextual preaching. Which means that we value God’s intended meaning in scripture far above the opinions and possible errors of man. Our intention is always to present God’s message and only to compliment His Word with our teaching instead of trying to use God’s Word to “proof-text” out opinions.
3. The Church: We believe that the church was ordained by God, to be His instrument in evangelism and discipleship and is thus an inseparable part of the Christian life. We believe in committed, family like, church membership, where everyone works for the good of the body for the spiritual good of the individual.
4. Theology: We believe proper theology is necessary for a saving relationship and working understanding with God. Our theology is of a biblical, conservative, evangelical, and reformed disposition.
